"Weekly Chatter with CWOW" - From the leaders -
Good Morning Ladies........
"This is the day the Lord has made, let us be glad and
rejoice in it."
Psalm 118:24 NKJ
~*~*~*~*~*~
Just a few words in the absence of Glennette....
Isn't our Lord Wonderful ! ? Our Nette is going to feel
much better when the healing process restores the damage that
was done to her eardrum.... Through God's remarkable
technology he allowed the diagnosis to be made and through
God's Infinite Wisdom has given her a physician to correct the
problem...and through God Holy Power... will be healed. The
'Power of Prayer' has no limits ! Aren't we glad!!!!!
Thank You Lord for the 'gift' of prayer !
Our prayers and thoughts are with you Nette... I know that
God has you in his arms and will not leave you! We are all
praying for a speedy recovery......

FROM THE EDITORS DESK ........................
Hello there Dear Sisters!!! Well we're doing our third
newsletter for this wonderful group. I must say I hope that
you all start sending in some submissions.. This would be a
great way to introduce yourself to your fellow sisters. One
thing I see in most all the submissions is each ones desire to
fellowship with other Christian women on the net.
This is a great opportunity here thru your newsletter. When
a submission is sent to me I file it in a special folder till
I put the newsletter together and then I move it to a
different one when it has been use. So if you send me
something it will be put in.. If I do omit something please
forgive me for it is not intentional. Just let me know and
I'll post it in the following weeks letter. *smiles*
I received a wonderful email from one of our members John
Conrod at FISHERMAN'S NET web pages.. He has kindly given me
permission to use any articles from his wonderful newletter
for our CWOW newsletter!!! How exciting.. I will be sure to
take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Thank you again
John.. Well on to the newsletter. Several sisters have sent in
urls for us to view. so lets get to it..

Just a short message to let you know there is new material up
at the message board on the current Bible Study.... Women Of
Scripture We are studying Mary, the Mother of Jesus.
Be sure to refresh your page if you have been there before.
I have changes the format up some... We are not doing a
daily study...rather, it is added to when I have the time. You
ladies should like that ..*smile* , not as much email !
You may also print this from your computer so that it will
be available to study as you have the time.
To do this you may have to be on the email list. I am not
sure if it can be done from the message board.
The study has been in progress for a while, but you may
come and go without missing too much ... you can always catch
up or .. just skip the woman that you don't care much for
...... Scroll down the page about half way to see the first
studies of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
At the very top is the current info on the study... Look it
all over...
I feel like you will enjoy it..
If you would like to get the email version...you will have
to get it through the mailing list at: http://www.topica.com
The Bible study pages at CWOW need some work on them, in
the meantime you may access the study from these pages below.

I'm not sure what you may be looking for, but this was in my
email today and I look for and usually find miracles -- this
one works for me! (=^__^=)
A PERFECT MISTAKE
My Mother's father worked as a carpenter. On this particular
day, he was building some crates for the clothes his church
was sending to orphanages in China. On his way home, he
reached into his shirt pocket to find his glasses, but they
were gone. When he mentally replayed his earlier actions, he
realized what had happened; the glasses had slipped out of his
pocket unnoticed and fallen into one of the crates, which he
had nailed shut.
His brand new glasses were heading for China!
The Great Depression was at it's height and Grandpa had six
children.
He had spent $20 for those glasses that very morning. He
was upset by the thought of having to buy another pair.
"It's not fair," he told God as he drove home in
frustration. "I've been very faithful in giving of my
time and money to your work, and now this."
Months later, the director of the orphanage was on furlough
in the United States. He wanted to visit all the churches that
supported him in China, so he came to speak one Sunday at my
grandfather's small church in Chicago.
The missionary began by thanking the people for their
faithfulness in supporting the orphanage.
"But most of all," he said, "I must thank
you for the glasses you sent last year.
You see, the Communists had just swept through the
orphanage, destroying everything, including my glasses. I was
desperate. Even if I had the money, there was simply no way of
replacing those glasses. Along with not being able to see
well, I experienced headaches every day, so my coworkers and I
were much in prayer about this. Then your crates arrived. When
my staff removed the covers, they found a pair of glasses
lying on top." The missionary paused long enough to let
his words sink in. Then, still gripped with the wonder of it
all, he continued, "Folks, when I tried on the glasses,
it was as though they had been custom made just for me! I want
to thank you for being a part of that."
The people listened, happy for the miraculous glasses. The
missionary surely must have confused their church with
another, they thought. There were no glasses on their list of
items to be sent overseas. But sitting quietly in the back,
with tears streaming down his face, an ordinary carpenter
realized the Master Carpenter had used him in an extraordinary
way.
There are times we want to blame God instead of thanking
Him! Perhaps it is something we ought to try more often,
"Thank you God for not allowing my car to start this
morning." He may have been saving your life from a car
accident. "Lord, thank you for letting me lose my
glasses; I'm sure they'll be put to good use or there is a
lesson to be learned."
I have to remember this in these times of trial with my own
family. May GOD bless your week. Look for the perfect
mistakes.

Subject: URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
The gal who sits in front of my in the choir has a sister who
is a single mom of three, an 8-year old girl, 2-year old boy,
and 11-month old girl (I think that's correct). Anyway, early
this morning, someone drove by her house and threw a bomb of
some sort into the house which immediately caught the house on
fire. The three children all died and the mom is in the
hospital in very serious condition with 2nd and 3rd degree
burns over
50% of her body. She is at this time unaware that all of
her children are dead.
The family is taking this very hard and understandably so.
There seems to be no rhyme nor reason for this incident and it
is under investigation.
Thoughts at this moment are that it was a random incident
with no "targeting" involved.
Please pray for this family. The funeral is at our church
on Tuesday at
2:00pm. Unless the mother makes a miraculous recovery, she
will not even be able to attend the funeral of her three
children. As a mother myself, I cannot even fathom the weight
of sorrow this family must feel.
Thanks for your prayers . . .
Blessings, Jan

Hi, Ladies!
It's wonderful to know that so many are getting involved
with this wonderful newsletter.
I wanted to recommend a website that I designed earlier
this year. Not because I designed it, but because I know you
will be blessed by your visit there!
The site is "Ken's Resting Place" at http://KensRestingPlace.tripod.com
Ken Ferguson is a client and a dear friend. He is a
Southern Gospel Songwriter with B.M.I. and has such talent!
You can listen to midi or wav samples of his beautiful songs,
which I know will bless you.
If you have lost a loved one, you will be tremendously
blessed by the song "Only God Knows". Ken Ferguson
donated a whole case of these CD's to help raise burial funds
when my uncle died, not so long ago. The songs on this CD were
such a blessing to my entire family as we worked through the
shock of my uncle's unexpected death. They will each touch
your hearts too... and that is my reason for wanting to
recommend his site. Ken is also a Vietnam Veteran war hero,
honored with 2 purple hearts, though he is too modest to allow
that statement to be added to his site. :-) Let him know you
stopped by and give him an honest opinion about his songs, and
if you would... let him know that he is appreciated for
sacrifices he made while serving our country. Thanks!
And if you like webrings, here is a new one that is
becoming a wonderful ministry:
Lion of Judah's Voice Webring - http://www.geocities.com/~judahsvoice/ring.html
Thanks for your attention and may the Lord Bless You!
Your sis. in Christ, Cheri
