       THAT'S GOD ... He talks to you through the Holy Spirit.

Have you ever been thinking about somebody that you haven't seen
in a long time and then next thing you know you see them or
receive a phone call from them...
        THAT'S GOD ... there is no such thing as "coincidence."

Have you ever received something wonderful that you didn't even
ask for like money in the mail, a debt that had mysteriously been
cleared, or a coupon to a department store where you had just seen
something you wanted, but couldn't afford...
         THAT'S GOD ... He knows the desires of your heart...

Have you ever been in a situation and you had no clue how it is going to get better, but now you look back on it ...
         THAT'S GOD ... He passes us through tribulation to see a brighter day...

Here it is another beautiful day that the Lord has made!  Perhaps you didn't find yesterday to be so beautiful.  Perhaps yesterday filled you with so much pain that you couldn't find beauty in anything.  It happens!

But you know, beyond the pain, there's Jesus.  It's hard sometimes to ride out the storm, isn't it? (How well I know.) Sometimes, we think we just can't wait for the "dawn."  Beyond the darkness, there's Jesus.  He is our hope. That's not a mountain you see ahead, it's the outstretched hand of Jesus.  Because of the darkness it may look like a mountain but that just goes to show you how big that hand really is!  How abundantly able He is to handle all of it, if you'll just give it to Him.

The problem with most of us is, that we say we're giving our problems to Him, but we walk away with them still tied to our back!  Either we're not sincere, or we're deceived. Because once we give them over....we better not take them back!  If we say we're giving them to the Lord, we'd better be sure we mean it!

Sounds like a toughie, doesn't it?  I think the key is what happens at the time we give them over.  We aren't just saying a prayer.....we're struggling with every heart-wrenching emotion we feel.  We have to stay there on our knees until we're sure we've untied each string holding that burden to our back.  This is not something that's done easily or quickly....but God's Holy Spirit will let us know when we've finally let go of it all.

Then we can get up off our knees, dry our eyes, and walk away with the joy of the Lord in our hearts.  His peace will saturate us so that nothing further will move us.  That's what giving it over to the Lord is all about.

The big question of each of our lives is not WHAT's got us, but WHO's got us! Let's be sure of the answer to WHO's got us!

Don't remember if you put prayer requests in but my daughter Angela, age 18, will be having a heart procedure on Thursday for the second time.  Doctor said it is difficult but hopefully it will cure her rapid misfiring heart beats and she can be normal.  She is concerned about missing so much school as she graduates this year and wants to go to the University of Kansas and then on to medical school to be a pediatric cardiologist.  Thanks for your prayers.
