"Weekly Chatter with CWOW" - From the leaders

Welcome to the weekly newsletter which has been named by you, the members.
It was a close race between Victorious Voices, Christian Connections, and A
Touch of Heart.  Almost all the "contestants" got several votes but these
three got the most!  Congratulations to Evangelist Diana Gray
[sisterdiana@dianagrayministries.net] for winning the contest!!!!

Here's what Diane had to say!!
*****************************
Hello Glennette, I'm glad that my suggestion of "Victorious Voices," as name
for the newsletter won.  I pray that it ministers inner healing and lifts
the spirits of everyone who sees it. May it bless and encourage all of you
with the love of Jesus. You are all so very, very special to the Lord and
deeply loved by Him.
Bless everyone's heart, Pastor Diana Gray

FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK ...................................................

helping Glennette by putting together our CWOW Newsletter.  Yep, have to
admit that this was my idea and I volunteered to help, but Editor!!
*smiles*  I've never done this before so please have patience as I learn.
What we truly hope to bring you is information from you, the members.  This
is your newsletter!!  This is where we hope to see and have some more
interaction and communication amoung members.  My format will be simple.
You have something you'd like to share with your CWOW sisters, then submit
it to us and we'll post it here for all the members to read.  You can share
a testimony, prayer request, a web page you've made or news about your site,
a favorite recipe or poem.  Or anything that is on your mind.  Glennette
will reserve the right to monitor content for we want to keep this a
friendly newletter with no flaming or spamming,  We truly hope you enjoy
this format to increase communication among members!!!

Have a blessed Day!!

Would like to offer CWOW members 5000 FREE credits with a 4:1 click ratio
and a 2:1 view ratio in a banner exchange that I recently started on my
site!  Don't have a banner?  No problem, we'll make you one!   Visit Focus
on the word at http://www.focusontheword.com/

Also from Jan:
We also have another section on our website we have felt God leading us into
that we call "Faith Builders". It is a place where people with dynamic
testimonies of God's work in their lives can send us their testimony and
we'll post it for them. We are doing this to build the faith of all who see
and read so they will be able to believe God in areas of their lives where
they've seen God work in others!

http://focusontheword.com/faith

If you would like to add your testimony, e-mail me it to me at
jross@focusontheword.com - We won't change the content, but will edit for
grammatical errors, etc.  The testimony will be linked back to your e-mail
address so readers can contact you directly for prayer or further
encouragement.

On April 28th of this year, I lost my job. I have been to several interviews
and have yet to find employment. I'm starting to get very discouraged and am
starting to worry about slipping back into the depression I've been battling
for over 6 months. I have another interview coming up next Friday, and it's
the position and location I've been hoping for. Only catch is, there are
over 40 people being interviewed. Please pray that God will open the right
door for me... and soon! Hon, there will be no doubt in my mind... if I'm
extended the offer for this job, it could only be
because it was HIS will. The odds certainly are stacked against me this
round.

Thank you in advance for keeping me in your prayers.

From:  Cathy
Email:  [mkcathy@pacbell.net]

At first I saw God as my observer, my judge, keeping track of the things I
did wrong, so as to know whether I  merited heaven or hell when I die,

He was there sort of like a president.  I recognized His picture but I
didn't really know him.

But later on, when I met Christ it seemed as though life were rather like a
bike ride.  But it was a tandem bike,
and I noticed that Christ was in the back helping me pedal.

I don't know just when it was that He suggested we change places, but life
has not been the same since.

When I had control, I knew the way
It was rather boring and predictable...
It was the shortest distance between two points.

But when He took the lead, He knew delightful long cuts up mountains and
through rocky places at break-neck
speeds, it was all I could do to hang on!  Even though it looked like
madness, He said, "Pedal!"

I worried and was anxious and asked, "Where are you taking me?"
He laughed and didn't answer, and I started to learn to trust.

I forgot my boring life and entered into the adventure.  And when I'd say, "
I'm scared!" He'd lean back and touch my hand.

He took me to people with gifts that I needed, gifts of healing, acceptance,
and joy.  They gave me gifts to take on my journey, my Lord's and mine.

And we were off again. He said, "Give the gifts away; they're extra baggage,
too much weight." So I did to the
people we met, and I found that in giving I received, and still our burden
was light.

I did not trust Him, at first, in control of my life, I thought He'd wreck
it; but he knows bike secrets,
knows how to make it bend to make sharp corners, knows how to jump to clear
high rocks,
knows how to fly to shorten scary passages.

And I am learning to shut up and pedal in the strangest places, and
beginning to enjoy the view, and the cool breeze on my face, with my
delightful constant companion, JESUS CHRIST.

And when I'm sure I just can't do anymore, He just smiles and says . . . .
"Pedal."

MASTER ARCHITECT

My life was so sin wrecked,
Until touched by the Master Architect.
He picked up every broken part,
And put in me a brand new heart.
He molded me with gentle hands,
Even in times of reprimands,
And each day He is working still,
To help me do the Father's will.
So now I can hold my head erect,
For I was touched by the Master Architect.

Please pray for one of our CWOW women . . . Shelia.  Shelia is a dear friend
of mine . . . my "bestest" friend . . . who has Rheumatoid Arthritis very
badly and all of the problems associated with it.  Last Thursday she fell
from a "porch swing" and suffered some very bad bruises and hematomas and
has been in the hospital since then.  They  are saying that they may have to
do some skin grafts because the injuries are so bad.

Shelia is a woman of prayer, unquestionably dedicated to the Lord and His
servant in intercessory prayer.   Can we all pray for God's healing touch to
be made manifest in her life today.  She would do the same for you without
question!

Thank you and God bless . . .

(Excerpted from an email to Glennette - Thanks Deb, you made me cry *S*)

This is for you and all the members of CWOW.  I want to let you and others
know that I greatly appreciate all that you do to keep our group up and
running.  I feel that the group was organized to edify Christ and also to
help all the CWOW sisters through trials and tribulations that this life has
to offer, as well as sharing the love of Christ to others. I hope that we
all can  continue to do that.

Love,
Deb

"Thank You"
by Ray Boltz

I dreamed I went to heaven
And you were there with me;
We walked upon the streets of gold
Beside the crystal sea.
We heard the angels singing
Then someone called your name.
We turned and saw a young man running
And he was smiling as he came.
And he said, "Friend you may not know me now."
And then he said,
"But wait, You used to teach my Sunday School
When I was only eight.
And every week you would say a prayer
Before the class would start.
And one day when you said that prayer,
I asked Jesus in my heart."
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.
Then another man stood before you
And said, "Remember the time
A missionary came to your church
And his pictures made you cry.
You didn't have much money,
But you gave it anyway.
Jesus took the gift you gave
And that's why I am here today."
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.
One by one they came
Far as the eye could see.
Each life somehow touched
By your generosity.
Little things that you had done,
Sacrifices made,
Unnoticed on the earth
In heaven, now proclaimed.
And I know up in heaven
You're not supposed to cry.
But I am almost sure
There were tears in your eyes.
As Jesus took your hand
And you stood before the Lord.
He said, "My child, look around you.
Great is your reward."
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.

Ladies :
Of course our prayers are with Becky and I am HERE for any of you that need
anything. Nette only meant well with the newsletter and I do not in any way
feel that this was "insensitive" nor was it directed towards Becky. Let's
not let satan weave a foot here ladies - let's pray. When one loses a child
it is NOT the time for anyone to disrespectful and Nette is definitely
working hard as she possibly can with CWOW and I personally thank GOD for
her and all of her hard work - because she has stuck by CWOW for the
members - and because CWOW is guided by God.  Please - I beg you all that we
simply stop and think before we type.  Sometimes those words are very harsh
and hurtful.
I will always be here for CWOW and for YOU the member.
Father we pray in Jesus Christ name - we need your guidance and ask that you
covet Becky on the loss of her son.  May we be of YOUR service Lord and may
you guide us in our decisions/choices in all that we do.
Amen
God bless you all
Cindie

I AM ENOUGH
When it seems I want to quit,
Because things are tough,
The Savior gently says to me,
"My child I am enough.
I am enough my child,
To take you through this test,
And later you will understand,
It was really for your best.
So my child do not quit,
When things do get tough,
As you will always find,
Indeed I am enough."
